Fosters & Volunteers

You know the old proverb "it takes a village"?  Well believe us, it does!  PVR founder Susan has built a small network of people she has known for years and years to assist in the endeavors needed for PVR's success.  But we are always growing and we are always in further need.

We rescue Dalmatians from all over California and Mexico, and volunteers are needed for helping with rescue, transport, vet appointments, and food & supply runs.

Foster people and foster families are always in great need.  Once rescued, we need a safe-haven where our rescues can decompress, heal from any ailments or medical vetting, and allow us to get to know them better before they are placed in a permanent home, so that we find just the right furver fit!

We don't expect you to make a lifetime commitment - we understand that life is fluid.  But if you can find it in your heart to help in any way possible, please call us, email us, find us on Facebook and ping us there - we welcome all helping hands.  And hey, if you want to become a "life-long" volunteer - that's okay too!!
