OUR SUCCESS STORIES
Holly
(formerly Gilda)
My name is Holly. I was fortunate enough to be found by my San Diego foster mom after I had recently had a litter of puppies. My foster mom had me spayed, got me up- to-date with my vaccinations, and for my safety had me microchipped.
I am a very sweet, young and petite, approximately age 2. I way around 40 pounds.
My favorite thing is cuddling with "hoomans". I wrap my paws around the hooman's body and give loving hugs and kisses.
I get along well with other dogs but have not been around children or cats.
I am deaf but I use my other senses like sight to know where you are. I know some basic ASL/obedience signs.
I am potty trained, crate trained, and healthy.
I was lucky to find my furever home with people who are loving and kind, cherish me and have vowed to take care of me unconditionally for the rest of my life. WOOF!
Marshall
I am a 9 month old purebred Dalmatian male who’s full of love, life, energy and playfulness.
True to my breed, when I'm ecstatic, I will give you one of those famous Dali "smiles".
I love to run and play, and I sought an active family to keep me happy and stimulated.
I know most basic commands, but my leash walking needs some work!
I get along with all dogs of all sizes and ages.
I sleep through the night in my bed, BUT I'd prefer to be beside a hooman in yours!
I love to cuddle and will stop in motion to get ear or body rubs.
I'm told I'm very intelligent, easy to train, and treats are my biggest incentive.
While I had a rough start in life because I was tied to a tree by my former owner.
But I'm soooo happy with my freedom and the family who chose to respect and love me.
Ricky
(formerly Cooper)
Hello I am Ricky! I'm a gentle senior citizen, who was found as a stray, and ended up in a local county shelter.
I was treated for a skin infection due to flea allergies but I healed quickly with the help of the vet!
I'm super "chill" and want nothing more to do than love, love, love! Nothing makes me happier than head scratches and cuddles!
I'm so blessed that my furever family decided to let me live my best senior life and gave me a chance!
Ciaran
I am Ciaran! A very handsome 8 year old boy. I am sweet as sugar with some separation anxiety so that makes me a typical "velcro" dog.
I get along well with other dogs, and would do best with a home where I am not left alone for long periods of time.
When I was younger I was diagnosed as a "stone former", but I have not experienced any issues in many years since being on specialized food.
I love walks, and have been to doggy day care occasionally which I also do well at.
My adoptive family has made me a lucky and happy-go-lucky K9.
Maddie
I am a petite (47 pounds) 1-1/2 year old Dalmatian. I adore playing and running, and get along swimmingly well with other dogs my size, but not so well with little dogs.
My ideal home would be relatively quiet and calm, with another dog to play with, and a good size yard.
Because I am young, I tend to occasionally get into mischief if left alone without companionship.
I'm not too crazy of loud noises or hectic households; and I get the zoomies every so often.
As is typical of my breed, I am very loyal and aware of strangers and unusual home noises, alerting you to stranger danger.
My favorite thing is to curl up next to a hooman on a chair or sofa, and will steadfastly stay by your side.
I have been spayed, and am up-to-date on my vaccinations. I know basic commands and walk well on a leash.
My adoptive family loves me just the way I am!
Hawthorne
Yes I know.... I have no spots! PVR saved my life nevertheless.
My previous home was no longer able to give me the time and exercise I needed.
I am a honey of a bunny 5 year old pure bred Viszla who loves to run, and run and run some more!
Once I exude my energy I love to cuddle! I play awesome with other dogs and I am currently working on basic training and recall work!
My adoptive family and I are as giddy as pigs in mud!
